The Apple iPhone 4 Has Video Calling Through FaceTime

Thursday, June 24, 2010

The Apple iPhone 4 offers video calling like no other handset through FaceTime, made possible through simply finding a contact and tapping FaceTime to start a video call to that person. FaceTime uses the front camera while a second main camera on the back of the latest iPhone handset is present for great photos and HD videos along with an LED flash.
The handset is also the first in the prestigious range to feature multi-tasking allowing the user to easily switch between applications both preinstalled and third-party apps from the App Store, and then return to them later in the same place having performed other task with other applications, or simply used another app while waiting for a download. It also makes it possible for the user to constantly listen to music in the background while performing other tasks on the phone. All this is simply done from a double-click of the Home button on the front of the handset too.
In addition to multi-tasking, another new feature with iPhone 4 is Folders. Folders allows the user to now organise their Home screen better, and specifically organise their apps, due to the enormous 200,000 plus available, for example the user could have a Folder called "Games" and have all their gaming apps inside it. Folder naming is automatic too, it is done based on the categories of the apps added to the folder, although they are still editable.
Along with all these new features the handset still provides the user with an iPod too, offering iTunes to store thousands of tracks of music including album information and artwork and simply scroll through with touch movements on the display to find the desired album, track or playlist to enjoy. Of course, the user also has the ability to watch videos, TV programs and movies from iTunes also. When a call comes in the music automatically fades too, allowing it to be taken.
The handset also still makes it possible to seamlessly browse the Web through the Safari web browser, which offers bookmarks, Google search and fast browsing performance, as well as opening PDF documents in-window, and multiple windows too. Email is offered by the Mail app which can sync mail accounts and emails, while Yahoo Mail and Google Mail can be accessed also through their own respective apps offered.
The Apple iPhone 4 is the latest in the iPhone series, and unsurprisingly the best yet. Featuring all of the common capabilities which advanced and novice iPhone users have come to enjoy, this handset now also addresses critics opinions with multi-tasking without reducing performance, folders to organise all those third-party apps and a powerful camera with flash, along with a new and more durable design. All this and a mobile phone.

The HTC Wildfire - Defying the Norm

The new HTC Wildfire is a smart phone that is cheaper than higher end Android phones. However, we have experienced a lot of problems with the purchase of these cheaper phones. This reality makes you think twice about getting this new phone from HTC.
One of the disadvantages is the cheap look of lower end Android phones. They are unattractive and are less durable than the more expensive phones. This is not the case with the Wildfire. It may be cheaper than its higher end counterparts, but it still looks stylish and elegant.
Another disadvantage of these cheap phones is their internet capabilities. With phones of the same class, the average download speed you will get is around 3 mbps. With the Wildfire by HTC, you will enjoy 7.2 mbps of download speeds. This is especially important when downloading mobile applications.
Yet another disadvantage of cheaper smart phones is the capabilities of their integrated cameras. Most of them only come with 3 megapixel cameras. With the HTC Wildfire, you will get a camera that is far superior. You get a 5 MP camera with LED flash, autofocus, geotagging, and smile detection.
Some of the cheaper phones come with a screen that is too small. With this touch screen mobile phone you get a 3.2 inch touch screen. This large display is ideal for viewing websites, images, videos, and games. This screen size is more than sufficient.
Mobile application compatibility will never be a problem with this phone. This is due to the Android mobile operating system the phone comes preinstalled with. You can download an assortment of applications from the Android Market and run them with ease. Furthermore, you can share these applications by sending their links to friends.
Low cost phones clearly have problems when it comes to processing power. The reason behind this is the mobile processors that they come with. The Wildfire is different. It comes with a 528 MHz mobile processor that is up to the job. You can easily go from feature to feature and the phone will not leave you hanging.
As you can see, low cost phones do not have to fall short on quality. The phone will offer you more for your money. If practicality is concerned, this phone by HTC will be your most practical choice. This phone defies the norm. The HTC Wildfire may be low cost, but you get a quality smart phone.
