The Apple iPhone 4 comes with a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash for photos and HD video capture on the back, while also providing a front camera optimised for video calling through a new FaceTime application. The latest version of the iPhone also comes with new multi-tasking capabilities, a greater design and durability along with new display screen technology.
The handset offers the usual Safari web browser for browsing webpages, with bookmarks, mail links and multiple windows all available, as well as the Mail app which can have any POP, SMTP or IMAP mail accounts configured with it for instant push emails straight to the phone. The internet is offered through Wi-Fi technology with data streamed through GSM and EDGE, along with UMTS, HSDPA and HSUPA broadband technologies also.
The iPhone 4 comes with a totally new type of screen technology, which provides 960 by 640 pixel resolution at an astonishing 326 pixels per inch achieving fantastic vidi images, picture and text sharpness and graphics display. The 3.5 inch widescreen multi-touch display also uses a specially engineered glass cover as used on helicopters and high-speed trains offering 20 times the strength and 30 times the hardness of plastic. It is also highly scratch resistant and recyclable.
The handset is able to offer ore 200,000 third-party apps which have been developed for the operating system and they can now be enjoyed at the same time due to the new multi-tasking feature allowing the user to leave one application as it is, and use another. Multi-tasking is easy through simply double clicking the Home button on the handset. It also has little effect on the performance of the handset or causes major reduction in battery life, as it is maximised to preserve both along with the phones Apple A4 chip processor.
Messaging is made easy with the threaded conversation-like text messaging which the phone offers, displaying messages in different coloured bubbles and making it seamless to add photos and videos to threads along with voice memos, contact information from Contacts app and locations from the Maps app.
The Apple iPhone 4 is the latest and most powerful in the series yet, offering a new design featuring a stainless steel surrounding band with a scratch resistant toughened glass display with retina technology bringing all the thousands of useful apps available for download to life alongside the photos and videos the user can capture for themselves with the back camera, and impressive video calling through FaceTime. All this is now possible to achieve at the same time due to multi-tasking now being present also.
