Allocative efficiency is a situation in which no reorganization or trade could raise the utility or satisfaction of one individual without lowering the utility or satisfaction of another individual without lowering the utility or satisfaction of another individual. Certain limited conditions, perfect competition leads to allocative efficiency. this is also called pareto efficiency.
